The Child Accident Prevention and Safety Scheme is a multi agency organisation developed in partnership with the community to help raise awareness and promote accident prevention particularly amongst children.

Our aim at CAPS is to develop a multi-agency and community approach to accident prevention, which will reduce childhood accidents by raising awareness of accident prevention with monthly safety messages and first aid advice.

	The information contained within this website offers a vast array of facts, figures, helpful tips and advice to both adults and children on 12 areas of safety. We hope you'll find it interesting and informative. The website has been designed to be interative, so within the site you'll find games, downloadable puzzles and online quizes for you and your child to try. CAPS 2004 Childrens Awards

Colin Wells (Hollyoaks/Crosswords) presented certificates to the children who provided the illustrations for this years calender at a ceremony at Preston Guildhall on Saturday 18th December 2004.
